Strawberries in Somis, California…the best you have ever eaten!
Spring in California…warm breezes, yellow daisies blooming on the hills by the ocean and yes, fresh local strawberries. I have been coming to Las Posas Berries for longer than I care to think about…it is kind of like the swallows returning to Capistrano…every year in March I start thinking about the best strawberries money can buy…and they are here at Las Posas Berries. Low Tide on the Beach in Malibu: Nature inspires Studio Daedre’s Designs
Anyone that knows me, understands how I feel about the beach….the water, sand and sunburn…not so much. But a walk on the beach at low tide…it’s my favorite. Hiking in LA: Sometimes the simple things in life are the best.
It is true…sometimes the simplist things in life are the best. Today is my dear friends birthday and when asked what she wanted to do, she said she wanted to go on a hike. Being the sporty LA gal that I am, I thought great, that’s just what I would like to do too! Our hike from the Cliffs of Santa Monica to Will Rogers State Park…an urban walk, as my friend explained to me…but wonderful. Views of the Pacific, lots of palm trees, gorgous homes, we crossed a river, saw the polo field and admired lots of interesting architecture. Continue reading

Full Moon over Santa Monica Bay
Over the last few nights, the moon has been closer to the earth than it has been in many years…and it has been golden orange and round and amazing.
