Snapshots across America as Studio Daedre travels to the NYIGF

America from 35,000 feet is magic…the texture of the landscape changes as you move from one side of the country to the other. Mountains, plains, plateaus, neatly divided farms, and finally Manhattan with it concrete jungle. As we leave the Pacific Ocean, cross the snowy continental divide and head for the Atlantic, it is interesting to note how very different the weather is this year. Last year as we arrived in NY, we were ahead of a huge snowstorm that dumped 18″ on Central Park. We took a snow-day instead of a set-up day in the city, as our freight couldn’t make it into Manhattan. This year the middle of the country looked cold, while both coasts are without a sign of snow.

As we prepare for the NYIGF, we are glad that the weather is amazing for January here in NYC. Warm in fact! So come one, come all to The New York International Gift Fair, and visit Studio Daedre’s Booth 2349-51. As always, come see the latest trends in stationery and our beautiful hand detailed cards. Studio Daedre, Stationery Trends and The Gift Shows

The long lead-up to the Gift Shows is almost over. The Catalogs are finished and the Price Lists are printed. We are packing the pallets to send to the shows, putting the finishing touches on our newest illustrations and getting our first look at some of the new products we have worked so hard on. Everything is looking just fabulous!

During the quiet season, over the holidays, we trimmed outdated designs from our line, refreshed others and added striking new images and products. Look for rich purples and tropical blue-greens to be our favorite colors of the season.
